Aurora

The Aurora fan is an innovative design incorporating a circline lamp positioned in a translucent diffuser, providing the incandescent equivalent of 180 watts of color-corrected, energy saving fluorescent light, both up and down.

Aurora pricing starts at $352.00

Description

Includes 6" and 16" downrods for 14" and 24" overall lengths. To calculate overall height when using optional downrods, add 8" to the downrod length. Ron Rezek has upgraded the Aurora fan with the latest in energy efficient lighting for the fan industry. The New Aurora is equipped with a color balanced fluorescent lamp (3000K) designed to provide excellent primary lighting to any but the largest room. The light source is a 40 watt, T-5 circline (model FPC40/830) which gives the equivalent of 180 watts of incandescent light while staying cool, saving energy and lasting forever (five years at six hours per day). The New Aurora fan qualifies for the EPA's Energy Star labeling as a highly efficient, energy conserving design.

The bottom rotor is die-cast aluminum and along with the other metal components is offered in either a brushed aluminum or gloss white finish. The body of the New Aurora is an acrylic diffuser which transmits light both downward and reflects light upward for complete room lighting. The three blades are plywood construction and painted to match the fan finish.

Note: Any control ordered with the Aurora will be supplied in a non-dimming version.

The Aurora is available in several standard heights using the optional downrods. The fan can accomodate up to 33 degree sloped ceiling; for slopes over 33 degrees but under 45 degrees, use the sloped ceiling adaptor (sold separately).
