Halo

The Halo fan is a classic integration of form and function, combining a refined aesthetic with state-of-the-art air movement and quality lighting. The Halo stands out as a fixture that functions equally well as a luminaire as it does a ceiling fan.

Halo pricing starts at $352.00

Description

Includes 3" and 9" downrods for 18" and 24" overall length. For optional downrods, add 15" to obtain the overall length of the fixture. The Modern Fan Company breaks new ground with an all mouth blown glass bodied ceiling fan, the Halo. The high quality European glass gives the fan its form, translucency and lighting diffusion. The lower opal glass, which holds the light source, lights the room and casts gentle light up into the upper glass making the whole fan glow. With the fluorescent option the fan qualifies for the EPA's Energy Star labeling as a highly efficient, energy conserving design.

The rotor, which sits on the top of the fan, is die-cast aluminum and along with the other metal components is finished in our textured nickel or gloss white. The four blades are plywood construction and painted in matte nickel or white to match the fan finish.

The motor is a high power silicon steel design with 16 poles. These motors are designed for long life and silent running, and are controlled by dual capacitors. The fan speed and the light can be operated by any one of four control options described in the controls section of this product page. Light kit lamping choices- 100W A19 incandescent (not included) or 26W GU24 low profile self-ballasted compact fluorescent (included). Note: Any control ordered with a fan that has been configured with an energy-saving CFL will be supplied in a non-dimming version.

The Halo is available in several standard heights using the optional downrods. The diameter of the outer glass is 8.75". The fan can accomodate up to 33 degree sloped ceiling; for slopes over 33 degrees but under 45 degrees, use the sloped ceiling adaptor (sold separately).
