You may return an item within the first 30 days of receipt of goods. All returns must be accompanied by a sales receipt and be brand new, not installed, in original condition with original carton and packaging. If an item is not in original condition with all original packaging, it will not be accepted. The packaging must also be in original condition. Customers are responsible for all shipping charges back to us on returned items.
Returns will only be accepted with a valid RGA (Return Goods Authorization) number. RGA numbers may be requested via email. The following information needs to be provided:
Name & Address Order Number Item(s) to be returned Reason for return
Once a valid RGA number is received, this number must be clearly written on the outside of all packages to be returned. Packages without a valid RGA number referenced on the outside of the box will be not be opened and will be returned to the shipper.

An item that is returned within one year of purchase for being defective will be repaired or replaced.
Please inspect your merchandise immediately and carefully upon receipt. Any damaged merchandise received must be reported to Modern-fans.com within 24 hours of receipt. Customer bears full responsibility for any damages not reported within this 24 hour period.
We recommend hiring a qualified electrician to install your fan. Modern-fans.com is not responsible for any damages or defects due to faulty installation. Modern-Fans.com is not responsible for any labor costs incurred as the result
of the installation of wrong or defective parts.
We will credit your original credit card used to purchase returned item(s) for the original amount paid minus any applicable shipping & handling charges once the return has been processed.
